Sara Zigdon Artist Biography

Sara Zigdon was born in Ranana, Israel. 

From an early age, she demonstrated an innate artistic talent and continued to bring her creative passion to fruition.

In 1999 she moved to New York where she pursued an art education at the School of Visual
Arts and The Art Students League. In 2019, she moved to Miami, Florida where she
currently resides.

Sara’s paintings have been selected for exhibitions presented by the National
Association of Women Artists, a prestigious New York-based organization. They have
been held at the Coral Springs Museum of Art, in Florida, and Sylvia Wald and Po
Kim Art Gallery in New York City, NY. She has also shown her artwork at Armory
Annex Gallery, Lake Worth, Florida; Haven Art Studio, Port Washington, NY; and Agora
Gallery, New York City, NY; among other venues.

The artist has received high praise and accolades for her artwork. As Renee Phillips,
Director, Manhattan Arts International, New York, NY, stated, “Sara Zigdon expresses
hope and joie de vivre in her stylized portraits and nature scenes. Her inspirational
dialogue communicates the healing power of art and lifts our spirits.”
